The project direction was to create a new type of packaging within an industry that hasn’t seen a lot of innovation in over a decade. We broke out the pens, pencils, crayons and computers and went to town. Boxsal is an eco-friendly modern picnic box covered in high-design graphics. It’s fashion for picnics. It’s style for the design world. And it’s good for the environment. This campaign covered just about every type of design, branding, interactive and traditional advertising medium and discipline available. The result was an overwhelming response from the design community. Boxsal has been featured on the Today Show (twice), in both national and international print magazines, on over 150+ blogs, and has quickly expanded to a number of high-end, boutique retailers across the US including CB2 and GiltTaste.
